Profile: |
Although at Pittodrie at the same time as Bobby Clark and Andy Geoghegan, John Gardiner still managed to squeeze in some first team football with the Dons, making his senior debut in a friendly against Middlesbrough in 1978. John left the Dons in pursuit of first team football and joined Dundee United, going on loan to Airdrie and Forfar before settling at Motherwell in 1984 where he enjoyed three seasons. Later played in the Highland League and managed Huntly, Inverurie Loco Works and Formartine United.
